Strip

We all know that preparation is vital – nowhere more so than in vehicle bodyshops. You need to know, if our technicians are going to go to work on your vehicle, that they have first done the preparation. This involves the stripping, storing, protecting and covering operations that mean that the rest of your car – and the vulnerable interior soft furnishings in particular – are completely safe from damage or spillage.

All of our jobs follow an approved repair method – Mercedes Benz’s Workshop Information System (WIS), Volkswagen Group’s Electronic Service Manual (ELSA) or Escribe developed by Thatcham Research Centre – all adhering to the BS 10125:2014 British Standard.

Our technicians follow the approved method in stripping your vehicle to prepare it for the next stage of work. All tools and equipment are manufacturer-approved, and calibrated and certificated, where appropriate, every 6-12 months. Any item that is removed from your vehicle is stored separately in a specially appointed area, where it is tagged and protected, safe and secure.
